Weathering the Financial and Market Storms

Saguaro Lightning Storm

I love this time of year in Tucson.

Most days start out with hot weather followed by an electrifying lightning and thunder monsoon rain that really helps cool down our desert.

My family and I love going outside during these storms (as long as they aren’t too strong or too close) to watch the lightning bolts and count until the thunder roars.

The looks on my kids’ faces when the thunder roars through the valley is priceless. If they are standing on the patio when the thunder announces its’ presence, they run quickly back into our arms for safety!

The current climate of the investment world has looked somewhat like a monsoon these last few months. As many of us know, monsoons can be very destructive and we all like to be somewhere safe, like my kids, when those storms arrive. How will your retirement portfolio hold up when the storms hit?

A sound retirement portfolio is built on diversification and making sure sound risk management strategies are in place. What are YOU doing to protect yourself against the current ‘financial storms’ in the financial climate?

Will you feel protected the next time a major ‘financial monsoon’ hits the market? If you would like to learn more about how to protect yourself in these current financial times, we would love to help you navigate through the pending storms ahead.
